We are a friendly and sociable club based in Reading, UK. With men's and ladies' teams catering for all levels of ability from children to social volleyball to national league, we have now become one of the largest clubs in Berkshire. We are also members of:
We are always on the look-out for new members. We have the largest number of qualified coaches amongst our members of all the volleyball clubs in Berkshire. So if you would like to take up volleyball or want to start playing again after a break, we would love to hear from you. Please email enquiries for more information - your first session will be free!
Club Nights
Club nights are on Monday nights, 7:15pm to 10:15pm at Kendrick School.
7:15 to 8:15 for Children & Development Squad
8:15 to 9:15 is a coached session that caters for beginners as well as more advanced players.
9:15 to 10:15 is game time.
New members, please feel free to come along.
Local League
We enter teams of varying abilities into the local men's and ladies' leagues (run by the Berkshire Volleyball Association), so if you want to play comptetive volleyball we have a squad suitable for you. Squad training is on Thursday nights at Loddon Valley sports centre in Lower Earley from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Please check the schedule to see when your squads are training.
National League
Reading Aces has three of the most successful National League teams in Berkshire. The ladies top team currently play in Division One whilst the men are playing in Division 3 West. Training and playing for these squads is by invitation only so if would like to arrange a trial please email enquiries describing your volleyball experience.

The outdoor season has ended, and we resume training indoors on 8th September (Mondays 7.15-8.15 Juniors, 8.15-10.15 Club Night) and 11th September (Men's & Ladies' BVA Training, Thursdays 7.30-9.30).

Reading Aces Ladies 1
The Chiltern Ladies travelled to Winchester for a crucial match against South Hants. For Chiltern Ladies it was important to win 3:0 to still have any chance for promotion to Div.1, for the ladies from South Hants it was important to win to be safe from relegation.
On paper it should have been an easy game for the guests but unfortunately the reality turned out to be different. Despite a good warm up the ladies around coach Dr. Brian Haddock (the one with two different socks) couldn’t get into gear and were trailing in the first set constantly by two points. Towards the end of the set they managed to catch up to 22:22 but a couple of unnecessary errors lost Chiltern the first set... click here to read more.
